An individual quiz night where you are invited to bring along a carefully
chosen piece of vinyl.
You get to play it on the night and ask a question related to that piece
of music.
Everyone can take part in the quiz, with prizes for the winner, runner up
and best name.
You all get to vote at the end of the quiz for the best record of the night
and the winner also gets a prize.
Don’t worry if you prematurely got rid of all your records. We’ll more than
likely be able to find it on one of those new fangled streaming thingummies.
Live Music Featuring Jimmy Carr (King Jippo)
We will also be serving Irish Stew with Colcannon. Of course the Guinness will be flowing all day as well!
British and American Folk through to Country and Blues
Fran McGillivray (vocals, bass guitar & flute) and Mike Burke (acoustic, electric & resonator guitars, mandola, mandolin & vocals), are an exciting and compelling duo with a strong following on the blues and roots music scene. Their own vibrant and original compositions are complemented by soulful, dynamic and powerful interpretations of songs from a broad range of genres from British and American Folk through to Country and Blues.
What better way to celebrate Valentine's evening than with some side-splitting humour! Join Us for the King & Queen Comedy Club evening!
Tickets are now available at the pub.
