Re-opening on Wednesday December 2nd

The King and Queen re-opens on Wednesday 2nd December at 5pm. As you know there are new and stricter rules in place throughout the country and as Buckinghamshire is in Tier 2 there are new restrictions on how we operate. A full list is detailed here, but most importantly we can only serve drinks alongside a “substantial meal”, so you won’t be able to just walk in and have a pint or glass of wine. We strongly suggest that you phone and book if you want to be sure of a table. Due to these restrictions we will also be operating changed opening hours, which are also shown here. ·      SINGLE HOUSEHOLDS AND SUPPORT BUBBLES ONLY INDOORS

·      RULE OF SIX OUTDOORS (INC. MARQUEE)

·      TABLE SERVICE ONLY - PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN TO A MEMBER STAFF, FIND A TABLE AND SOMEONE WILL COME AND TAKE YOUR ORDER.

·      PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE “NHS COVID19 APP” - USE YOUR SMART PHONE TO SCAN THE UNIQUE NHS TRACK AND TRACE QR CODE, WHICH IS DISPLAYED THROUGHOUT THE PUB. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A SMART PHONE PLEASE LET A MEMBER OF STAFF KNOW AND WE WILL TAKE YOUR CONTACT  DETAILS.

·      YOU MUST NOW WEAR A FACE COVERING AT ALL TIMES WHEN NOT SEATED AT A TABLE

·      LAST FOOD ORDERS ARE AT 9pm AND DRINKS WITH FOOD AT 9.45pm. 

·      PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A SMALL PUB WITH A ONE CHEF KITCHEN AND AS SUCH FOOD ORDERS MAKE TAKE A LITTLE  TIME WHEN WE ARE BUSY. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
