Lifelong Wendover residents, Pete and Shelley took over The King and Queen in February 2016.  Re-establishing The King and Queen as a vibrant community pub, at the heart of village life. With an exciting events calendar, focusing on interests in music, literature, the surrounding area (and more..).

So this year we celebrate our tenth anniversary at the pub and hope to be here for some years to come! We no longer have an operating kitchen at the pub, but have regular Food Trucks, particularly at weekends. You can keep up with what’s on offer by following us on social media. We will be curating several events throughout the year that will celebrate the ten years in different ways.
